The Double Minaret Madrasah (Çifte Minareli Medrese) is perhaps the most striking and recognizable symbol decorating ancient Sivas. This Seljuk architectural masterpiece draws attention with its monumental facade and two graceful towers reaching toward the sky, embodying the grandeur of medieval craftsmanship.
Located in the very heart of the city, the building is a classic two-story structure with an open courtyard. In the past, it served as an important theological school known as Dar-ul-Hadis, where students delved into the intricacies of sacred traditions. Today, it is one of the most important cultural sites that Turkey takes pride in.

The main feature of the madrasah is its incredible crown gate (portal), decorated with the finest stone carvings and mosaics made of glazed brick. The combination of austere stone and sky-blue tiles on the minarets creates a unique look that has inspired travelers and art historians for centuries.
