This modern sports cluster in Ukraine is equipped with everything necessary for high-quality recreation: there is a 185-meter T-bar lift, powerful snow cannons to maintain the snow cover, and a snow groomer for perfect trail preparation. Thanks to powerful floodlights, life here doesn't stop even after the sun goes down.

The complex serves as the primary training base for students of the "Extreme" school, yet it is open to everyone. Whether you are a professional or a beginner, Savych Park offers excellent infrastructure, including Wi-Fi and the ability to monitor the slopes via online cameras, making it one of the most technologically advanced small resorts in the region.

What to Do

The main magnet for visitors here is, undoubtedly, downhill skiing and snowboarding. The prepared trails are suitable for different skill levels, and the artificial snow system guarantees skiing even in mild frosts. For those who prefer a more fun and less energy-consuming pastime, there is a snow tubing zone. The inflatable sleds can reach impressive speeds while remaining a safe amusement for children and adults.

If you are stepping onto the equipment for the first time, experienced instructors are at your service to help you master the technique. The cost of lessons is quite affordable, and all necessary gear — from helmets to boots — can be rented at the rental point. Evening skiing creates a special atmosphere: under artificial lighting, the slopes look completely different, and on certain days, the park even offers night sessions.

For professional athletes and extreme thrill-seekers, the park features a special freestyle jump with an artificial surface. This allows for training not only in winter but also during the warmer months, landing on a soft airbag. Between activities, guests can refuel with hot snacks and drinks at the stalls at the foot of the slope.

Getting There

Located at 22A Henerala Tarnavskoho St, this ski complex is situated in the eastern part of the city, making it extremely accessible for both residents and visitors. You can get here by public transport: numerous route taxis (marshrutkas), trolleybuses, and buses run through this area, stopping in the immediate vicinity of the park entrance.

If you prefer comfort, a taxi ride from the central part of the city will take no more than 10–15 minutes. For those planning to arrive by their own car, parking is provided, and navigation systems accurately find the site using the official address or coordinates.

Its convenient location within the city limits is one of the complex's main advantages. You don't need to spend several hours traveling to high mountains to enjoy winter sports, as a full-fledged slope is practically at your fingertips.

History & Facts

The history of this place began in 1985 thanks to the initiative of enthusiast Volodymyr Savych Lishchuk. It was he who founded the city's ski club, for which the local executive committee allocated a 1-hectare plot of land. By November of that same year, the first phase of the slope with lighting and a lift was operational.

Over the decades, the status of the facility changed: from a private club to the "Extreme" State Children and Youth Sports School. A new stage of development began in 2013 when the complex was significantly modernized. Modern snow cannons were installed, a snow groomer was purchased, and the T-bar lift was updated, allowing the site to compete with resorts outside the city.

The name of the complex itself is also noteworthy. "Savych Park" was named after its founder's patronymic — Volodymyr Savych, whose dedication to sport made it possible to create a unique training base for future champions in freestyle and snowboarding. Today, the park continues to develop, with plans to install new ramps for year-round training.

Time Needed

To fully enjoy your vacation here, a typical visitor will need between 3 and 5 hours. This time is quite sufficient to go through the equipment rental process, make several descents, and relax with a cup of a hot beverage during a break.

If you plan to work with an instructor or have come with children to master snow tubing, you should budget about 6 hours. Learning the basics of skiing takes time, and the excitement of high-speed descents on the "tubes" often makes guests stay on the slope longer than originally planned.

Working Hours

The ski complex operates daily, providing opportunities for skiing in both the morning and evening hours. From Monday to Friday, the doors are open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. On weekends — Saturday and Sunday — the park opens slightly earlier, at 9:00 AM, and continues until 10:00 PM.

Please note that according to a preliminary schedule, the park may host night skiing sessions, which usually begin at 11:00 PM. Also, remember that the operation of snow cannons and lifts depends directly on weather conditions, so it is useful to check the website or the complex's webcams before heading out.
