The Vinnytsia Regional Museum of Local Lore is the oldest and largest scientific and cultural institution in the region, serving as a true guardian of Podillia's memory. Founded over a century ago, it is located in the unique 17th-century “Mury” architectural complex. This majestic building is a historical monument in its own right, highlighting the significance of the collections housed within.

The city of Vinnytsia is rightfully proud of this museum, whose funds include approximately 100,000 exhibits. It features the region's largest collection of archaeological artifacts, including Sarmatian gold and mysterious objects from the Trypillian culture. While touring the halls, travelers visiting a country like Ukraine can see rare weapons, ancient coins, and a rich ethnographic collection.
The exhibition occupies 16 halls and covers a vast period of time: from prehistoric eras and the region's natural history to modern events. Of particular interest are the reconstructions of ancient dwellings and unique jewelry from the Eastern Slavs of the first millennium AD, making a visit to the museum an unforgettable adventure for lovers of antiquity.
