The East Side Gallery is more than just a landmark; it is a living symbol of history and freedom located in the heart of Berlin. It is the longest preserved section of the Berlin Wall, which has been transformed into a unique open-air gallery. This is a place where art meets history, creating a powerful and inspiring space.

The gallery stretches for 1,316 meters along Mühlenstraße on the banks of the River Spree. Immediately after the fall of the Wall in 1990, 118 artists from 21 countries gathered here to capture the spirit of change. They created over 100 paintings directly on the eastern side of the concrete barrier, turning a symbol of division into a monument of unity and joy.
Today, the East Side Gallery is the world's largest permanent open-air street art exhibition and one of the most popular attractions in Germany. The artists' works reflect the political events of the time and express the hope and euphoria that swept through the people. Walking along the gallery is an opportunity not only to see world-famous murals, such as "The Fraternal Kiss" by Dmitri Vrubel, but also to feel a pivotal moment in world history.
