Fans of industrial romance and powerful machinery should definitely visit the DB Museum Koblenz. This unique site is located in a historic former depot in the Lützel district of Koblenz. Opened in 2001, the museum became the first official branch of the famous Nuremberg Transport Museum, showcasing the rich history of transportation for which Germany is renowned.

The museum occupies a building constructed in 1905, which is itself a monument of industrial architecture. Today, legendary locomotives are housed here under the roof of the old freight car repair shop. A special feature of this place is that its operation is entirely supported by volunteers who put their hearts into preserving the country's railway heritage.
The collection features more than 20 historical locomotives and numerous cars from different eras. This site is rightfully considered one of the most significant centers for technical preservation in the region, allowing guests to literally touch the history of transport development.
