October marks the beginning of a gradual transition to winter, but even in this month, it rains infrequently, leaving plenty of time for walks and sightseeing.

When packing for Leros in the summer season, opt for light clothing made from natural fabrics, such as cotton and linen, which will help you handle the heat. Since rain is a great rarity here from June to September, and the average temperature reaches 25–26°C, be sure to bring sunglasses, a hat, and cream with a high level of UV protection.
