If your trip falls during the off-season or winter, the best strategy will be the principle of layering. In spring and autumn, the weather is pleasant (from +16°C to +23°C) but changeable, so a combination of T-shirts and warm jumpers will allow you to easily adapt to temperature changes throughout the day. In winter, especially in January, when the number of rainy days can reach 14 and the thermometer shows around +13°C, you will definitely need a waterproof jacket with a hood, a thick sweater, and a reliable umbrella for protection against dampness and wind.

Regardless of the time of year, pay special attention to your choice of footwear. For walking along the colourful cobbled streets of Chora and exploring ancient ruins, comfortable, stable flat-soled shoes or worn-in trainers are necessary. If you plan hiking on the island's picturesque trails, it is better to bring trekking boots. Also, a useful accessory will be a small backpack for water and personal items so that your hands remain free during excursions.
