Bat Galim Beach (Hebrew: בת גלים, meaning "Daughter of Waves") is one of the oldest and most famous beaches in the city of Haifa, snugly nestled in the neighborhood of the same name at the foot of Mount Carmel. This picturesque corner on the Mediterranean coast of Israel attracts both locals and tourists with its special atmosphere and excellent conditions for relaxation.

Traveller photos:
Bat Galim Beach itself is a sandy strip with a very gentle slope into the water, which makes it particularly attractive and safe for family holidays with children, as well as for the elderly. The water here is famous for its cleanliness and clarity. An important feature is the breakwaters, constructed from huge natural stones, which protect the bay and allow for enjoyable swimming even on days when the sea is rough.
A distinctive feature of the beach, emphasizing the concern for the comfort of all visitors, is the presence of two specially installed ropes that lead into the water. These ropes act as railings, making the descent into the sea easier and more convenient, especially for people with physical disabilities. Such a thoughtful detail makes Bat Galim Beach a truly welcoming place.
