The main highlight of the park, attracting many tourists and locals, is the pair of impressive suspension bridges. These engineering structures were built in 2004 through the efforts of the Jewish National Fund (KKL). Walking across the bridges offers not only a slight adrenaline rush but also opens up breathtaking panoramic views of the Carmel Mountains and the surrounding landscapes, making a visit to the park truly unforgettable.
The area where the park is located today has an interesting history. It was recognized as a forest reserve as early as the British Mandate, and its area now reaches 285 dunams (about 28.5 hectares). Notably, part of what is now Nesher Park used to be a landfill, the cleanup of which began in the 1950s. Today, this place is a prime example of successful environmental restoration and the creation of a popular recreational area for all.
