The park is famous for its unique ecosystem, where various natural corners harmoniously coexist. Here you will find golden coastal dunes, mysterious wetlands known to locals as "lame," dense shady forests, and well-kept agricultural lands. One of the highlights of the park is the so-called "fossil" dunes – sand hills that were once part of the coastline but, over time, due to the natural advance of land into the sea, ended up deep within the territory.
The marshy areas of the park add a special charm and showcase the dynamics of nature. In summer, they usually dry up, creating a completely different landscape, and with the arrival of autumn rains, they fill with water again, becoming a haven for many bird species and other inhabitants. This seasonality makes every visit to the park unique in its own way, revealing new facets of its natural beauty.
