Saint John the New Monastery in Suceava is a majestic Orthodox men's complex and one of the primary spiritual pillars of the historical Bukovina region. Located in the very center of Suceava, it represents a unique example of medieval Moldavian architecture and is listed among the important cultural treasures of which Romania is proud.

The main sanctuary of the monastery is the relics of Saint John the New of Suceava, the patron saint of the city and all of Moldavia. The monastery cathedral, built in the 16th century, is striking in its monumentality, with its high dome and preserved ancient frescoes. This is not merely a museum piece but a living pilgrimage center where strict monastic traditions are still maintained and solemn services are held.
Visitors note the special atmosphere of peace in the courtyard, surrounded by historical walls. Due to its high rating and historical significance, the monastery is a mandatory stop on the route of the famous "painted churches" of Bukovina, attracting both deeply religious people and admirers of ancient architecture.
