The composition includes more than 500 miniature architectural objects, among which iconic buildings such as the majestic Königsberg Castle, the famous Cathedral, old town halls, and characteristic bridges of the time hold a special place. Each element of the model is executed with striking detail, conveying the atmosphere and architectural features of the era.
The model is dedicated to the final decades of the era of knights, covering the period from 1511 to 1544. It clearly demonstrates the architectural appearance of the city at a time when Königsberg was an important center of East Prussia. The heart of the exposition is an impressive reconstruction of the fortress-castle and the three medieval towns that were located around it: Altstadt, Kneiphof, and Löbenicht. Visiting this model is a unique opportunity to take a trip back in time and see Königsberg as it was centuries ago.
