The summer season in Ninh Binh, lasting roughly from May to September, is characterized by persistent heat and high humidity. Average monthly temperatures during this period consistently exceed 27°C. The peak of the heat occurs in June, when the average temperature is 30.4°C and maximum values can rise to 33.6°C. In July, the average temperature stays around 29.8°C with maximums up to 32.9°C. From May to October, Ninh Binh experiences a hot and humid season with frequent rains, peaking in August and September. During this time, average temperatures range from 28°C to 30°C and higher. Choose clothing made from light, breathable natural fabrics such as cotton or linen. Be sure to bring a reliable umbrella or raincoat, as downpours can be sudden and heavy.
