Although travel time may depend on traffic, the extensive network of expressways makes the trip quite predictable. It is recommended to purchase tickets in advance at departure stations, especially during national holidays when passenger traffic in China traditionally increases.

For those who prefer road trips, the shortest and most convenient route runs from the city of Xinzhou: the distance is about 86 km, which will take approximately 1.5 hours. This is the optimal choice for a quick trip on the region's quality roads.

If you are departing from more distant locations, the road from the city of Lyuliang (about 186 km) will take around 2.5 hours. A journey from the city of Shuozhou, covering 216 km, will require just under three hours; when using taxis for intercity travel, it is recommended to agree on a fixed price in advance or ensure the meter is used.
