The Aslan Pasha Mosque Museum is a unique cultural and architectural monument located in the heart of the historic fortress of Ioannina. Built in 1618, the building is considered one of the most elegant Ottoman structures in Greece and occupies a dominant position on the hill of the Its Kale inner citadel.

Today, the former prayer halls of the mosque house the Municipal Ethnographic Museum. Its exhibition is unique because it is dedicated to three of the city's historical communities: Christian, Muslim, and Jewish. Here, you can see rare clothing items, household utensils, and jewelry that tell the story of the centuries-long coexistence of different cultures.
The museum's primary value lies not only in its rich collection but also in the preserved lavish decoration of its interiors. Visitors can appreciate the craftsmanship of ancient architects while examining the decorative elements of the halls, which make this site one of the most atmospheric attractions in the region.
