Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park (Sanjay Gandhi Jaivik Udyan), also known as the Patna Zoo, is one of the main attractions of Patna in India. This vast green oasis, located on one of the central streets, is rightfully considered the "green lungs" of the metropolis. It represents a unique combination of a zoo and a botanical garden, offering visitors a wonderful opportunity for relaxation and connecting with the natural world.
The park is home to more than 800 animals representing about 110 different species, including tigers, leopards, giraffes, and rhinos. In addition to the impressive fauna, the park features over 300 species of trees, herbs, and shrubs. There is an arboretum with medicinal plants, an orchid house, and a rose garden. This makes the park an ideal place for family leisure and educational walks.

The aquarium, featuring about 35 species of fish, and the snake house are particularly popular.
