Neom is an ambitious futuristic project in the northwest of Saudi Arabia that seeks to redefine the concept of desert living. To travel to Neom, travelers can use the modern airport or arrive by land through neighboring regions, enjoying the rugged landscapes of the Arabian Peninsula. When planning how to get to Neom, it is important to consider that this is a developing zone, which is most conveniently reached by a direct flight or by car via Tabuk.

The fastest and most comfortable way to reach the region of the future is to fly directly to Neom Bay Airport (NUM). This air hub, Neom Bay Airport, already accepts commercial flights and serves as the main gateway to the city, ensuring convenient connection with the outside world.

Alternatively, one can consider flying to neighboring transport hubs. The nearest major city with an airport is Tabuk, located just 126 km away. Also, some travelers choose routes via Egypt, arriving in Sharm El Sheikh or Taba, although this will require a further border crossing and a sea or land transfer.

At the moment, there is no direct rail service to the city of Neom, as the region's transport infrastructure is under active construction. Tourists who prefer trains will have to combine this mode of transport with a car transfer or bus.

The nearest major hub is Tabuk (126 km), however, the railway network is limited here as well. Travelers most often have to use trains to move between the main metropolises of Saudi Arabia, and cover the final leg of the journey to the coast by taxi or rental car.

Since Neom is a new developing region, the regular intercity bus network is in the process of formation. The main transit point for ground transport is the city of Tabuk, from where most transfers depart.

The distance from Tabuk is about 126–147 km, which takes approximately 1.5–2 hours on the road. Travelers are advised to check the schedule of local carriers in advance or use the services of private companies organizing group trips for employees and tourists to this economic zone.

Traveling by car is one of the most flexible ways to get to the location, allowing you to appreciate the scale of the desert. The shortest and most convenient route runs from the city of Tabuk: the distance is about 147 km, and the travel time will take approximately 1.6 hours via modern highways.

For those planning a complex route from the Egyptian Riviera, the path will be significantly longer and may include ferry crossings or detours. The road from the resort of Sharm El Sheikh (via Aqaba and the border) will stretch for 421 km (about 6 hours), and from the border city of Taba, you will have to drive around 250 km, spending more than 4 hours on the road.
