The Antonio de Torres Spanish Guitar Museum is a unique cultural space located in the heart of the city of Almería. It is dedicated not just to the world's most popular instrument, but to the man who gave it its modern appearance and sound. Spain is rightfully proud of this place, as it carefully preserves the history of the guitar’s transformation from a simple accompaniment instrument to the queen of the musical stage.

Opened in 2013, this specialized museum occupies a modern three-story building. Its exposition is divided into 11 thematic halls, each telling the story of different stages of the instrument's evolution: from Renaissance and Baroque prototypes to high-tech modern models. It is not a dry archive, but an interactive center where music literally comes to life around the visitor.
The main protagonist of the museum is the outstanding master Antonio de Torres. Visitors can see the rarest original instruments crafted by him, including a famous guitar from 1684. The museum combines the functions of an exhibition hall, an educational platform, and a concert zone, making it a must-visit for all lovers of music and art.
