Calleja del Pañuelo (Alley of the Handkerchief) is one of the most colorful and memorable sights hidden in Cordoba. Part of the famous Judería quarter in Spain, this alley is officially named Pedro Jiménez Street, but it is known worldwide by its more romantic nickname.

The main feature of this place is its incredible narrowness: at its tightest point, the passage is just 50 centimeters wide. It is considered the narrowest street in the city and one of the narrowest in all of Europe. It is so cramped that two adults can hardly pass each other without touching.
The alley is only about 20 meters long and ends in a charming cul-de-sac — a miniature square. This secluded space, paved with traditional river stone, is considered one of the smallest squares in the world, giving the walk a special sense of privacy and magic.
