Dominating the main square of Huesca stands a building that is hard to miss: the Huesca Casino, also known as the Círculo Oscense. Built at the beginning of the 20th century, it is a brilliant example of the Modernismo style. With its exterior adorned by four octagonal towers, the structure resembles an elegant castle, harmoniously integrated into the urban landscape of Spain.

This is not just a historical monument, but a vibrant center of social life. The original interiors have been preserved inside, including unique furniture and ceiling paintings by Passual Aventín. For its architectural merits, the building has been designated a Cultural Heritage Site, becoming a symbol of the era of prosperity for the local bourgeoisie.
Today, culture and haute cuisine coexist under the roof of the former casino. It houses the city library, the popular Cafe del Arte, and even the Michelin-starred restaurant Lillas Pastia, named after a character from the famous opera "Carmen." This place combines the spirit of old Europe with modern cultural initiatives.
