This project was also never finished, but it left its mark in the form of a street name—Zooparkovaya. Finally, in 1935, Heinrich Beisert was offered a new site for construction, which was to be carried out "at the expense of future income." The enterprising Beisert adapted the old 1914 plan, and in 1937, the zoo officially opened at its current location, becoming a favorite leisure spot for residents and guests of Odessa.
