In the heart of the capital lies the Martiros Saryan House-Museum—a unique place where the legendary artist, whose name became synonymous with Armenian painting, lived and worked. This Armenia reveals itself to guests through the dazzlingly bright colors and profound images created by the great master of color. The museum building, located in the city of Yerevan, was built specifically for the artist back in 1932 based on a design by Alexander Tamanian himself.

The museum's collection includes hundreds of works covering Saryan's entire creative journey: from his early student sketches to recognized world masterpieces. Visitors can see famous canvases such as "Midday Stillness" and "Apricot Tree in Blossom," which are striking for their energy and warmth. In addition to the paintings, the living room furnishings and the artist's authentic workshop have been carefully preserved.
Today, the museum is a modern cultural center managed by the painter's granddaughter. It is not just a gallery, but a "living house" where the spirit of the era and the legacy of the man who celebrated the beauty of the mountains and the Armenian people are kept alive. There is also a small shop in the building where you can purchase high-quality reproductions and books about the master's work.
