Imagine a massive World War II hangar that has become home to hundreds of pieces of military equipment. The Aalborg Defence and Garrison Museum is an impressive military history complex located in the city of Aalborg. It is dedicated to the history of the Danish army and air forces, as well as the activities of the police and rescue services.

This museum in Denmark is unique for its atmosphere: it covers an area of about 15,000 square meters and offers more than 20 themed exhibitions. Here you can see everything from vintage cannons to supersonic jet fighters. Aalborg was not chosen as the location for such an exhibition by chance, as it has been the kingdom's largest garrison city since the end of the 18th century.
One of the main features of this place is its interactivity. Unlike many traditional galleries, visitors here are allowed to interact with many of the exhibits, making the visit both educational and exciting for the whole family. The museum thrives thanks to the enthusiasm of veteran volunteers who carefully preserve military heritage for future generations.
