About

Leo's Legeland is Scandinavia's largest indoor family entertainment center, located in the charming city of Aalborg. Covering an impressive area of 4,500 square meters, this park was the first branch of the famous chain to open in Denmark, welcoming its first visitors in November 2013.

What to Do

At Leo's Legeland, a real kaleidoscope of activities awaits children. Little adventurers can conquer the climbing volcano, scramble through the "spider web" in a tall tower, or feel like captains on a pirate ship. The variety of slides is particularly exciting, ranging from the swift "snake" slide to the "tiger" slide and the jungle race track.

For those who love jumping, there is a trampoline zone, while team game enthusiasts will appreciate the sports arena and parkour area. The youngest guests can play safely in the specially designed "Mini-world," where everything is adapted to the needs of toddlers. Additionally, there are huge ball pits and areas with mega-balls.

While children are busy playing, parents can relax in the cozy Leo’s Café, which serves hot meals, snacks, and drinks. The park is also famous for hosting themed birthday parties: you can choose from rooms styled after dinosaurs, princesses, or disco halls, where the staff takes care of all the catering and entertainment.

Getting There

The most convenient way to reach the entertainment center, located at Poul Larsens Vej 12, is by car. The facility is situated on the outskirts of the city, and the journey from central Aalborg takes only about 10–15 minutes. For those traveling in their own or a rental vehicle, free parking is provided directly on the premises.

If you prefer public transport, you can use the buses that run to the stops nearest the park. We recommend checking current schedules and route numbers in the Rejseplanen app to plan your trip as accurately as possible. Taking a taxi is also an excellent option, providing comfort and speed directly to the doors of the play center.

History & Facts

The history of this popular chain began in 2006 in the Swedish city of Luleå. Founders Joakim Gunler and Jonas Rönnqvist aimed to create a space where families could spend time together, with a strong focus on physical activity and the joy of movement. The concept proved so successful that the chain began expanding rapidly throughout Scandinavia.

An important milestone came in 2013 with the opening of the first branch in Denmark, which was the park in Aalborg. This event marked the beginning of the brand's active development in the Danish market. By 2023, following the acquisition of the Finnish chain HopLop, the total number of Leo’s Group play centers reached 65 locations across Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, and Denmark.

Interestingly, the Aalborg branch has maintained its status as a pioneer for the chain in the country, setting high standards for service, cleanliness, and safety. Over the years, the park has become an integral part of family leisure in the region, constantly updating its play zones and attractions to meet modern requirements for child development.

Time Needed

To allow children to fully enjoy all the attractions and explore every corner of the play areas at their own pace, it is recommended to set aside 3 to 5 hours for a visit. This is usually enough time to try the slides and trampolines and take a break for lunch at the local café.

If you plan to celebrate a birthday or are visiting with very young children, your stay might extend to a full day (about 6 hours). The vast area and variety of activities ensure that even after several hours, little explorers won't get bored.

Working Hours

The play center is open daily, offering a convenient schedule for both weekdays and weekends. From Monday to Friday, the park doors are open from 10:00 to 19:00. On Saturday and Sunday, Leo's Legeland opens an hour earlier—from 9:00 to 19:00.

Please note that during public holidays or school vacations, opening hours may change. It is recommended to check the information on the official website before your trip to ensure you make it into the world of adventure.
