Yaroslavl 1000th Anniversary Park is one of the youngest and most modern attractions in the city of Yaroslavl, Russia. This expansive urban park was created to celebrate the city's millennium and quickly became a favorite getaway for both locals and numerous tourists. Stretching along the Kotoroslnaya Embankment in the Kirovsky District, it occupies the site of a former hippodrome, completely transforming this part of the city and becoming one of its key green zones.

The project for this unique public space was designed by Vasily Grebenshchikov, a member of the Union of Architects of the Russian Federation, and architect Nikolay Kudryashov. Their goal was to create not just another green zone, but a modern multifunctional complex where every visitor could find something to their liking. The park is designed as a place that harmoniously combines relaxation zones, walking alleys, and spaces for active pastimes.
Today, Yaroslavl 1000th Anniversary Park offers its guests well-maintained walking paths, cozy spots for resting, and modern children's and sports playgrounds. The park's special charm is enhanced by original art objects and sculptures, many of which symbolize the rich history and culture of Yaroslavl. It is a wonderful place for slow walks, family holidays, or simply enjoying nature in the very heart of the city, away from the urban hustle and bustle.
