Located in a picturesque suburb of Gijón, the Evaristo Valle Museum-Foundation is one of the most charming cultural corners Spain has to offer. It is more than just an art gallery; it is an entire estate where art lives in harmony with ancient trees. Designated as a site of cultural interest, the museum is dedicated to the life and work of the prominent Asturian painter, Evaristo Valle.

The museum complex combines two buildings of different styles: an elegant late 19th-century mansion and a modern pavilion built in 1971. The foundation was established by María Rodríguez del Valle, the master’s niece, who devoted her life to preserving his works, personal documents, and everyday items, creating a unique atmosphere of immersion into the artist's world.
The surrounding area is of particular value — a magnificent historic garden spanning over 16,000 square meters. This space serves as a natural backdrop for sculptures and rare plants, turning a simple museum visit into a full-fledged walk in the fresh air.
