An outstanding cultural center located in the historic heart of Jaén, it represents a unique blend of architectural eras. Hidden in the basement of a 16th-century Renaissance palace is a true treasure — 11th-century Arabic baths, which are considered among the largest and best-preserved monuments of their kind in Europe and North Africa. The area of this archaeological complex is approximately 450 square meters.

This site in Spain was accidentally discovered in 1913 and underwent thorough restoration, for which it was awarded the prestigious Europa Nostra Medal of Honor in 1984. Today, the complex combines not only ancient hammams but also the magnificent Villardompardo Palace, whose facade dominates the Plaza de Santa Luisa de Marillac.
In addition to historical interiors, it houses the Manuel Moral International Museum of Naive Art and the Museum of Arts and Popular Customs. This place has become an open space for cultural events, where the past meets the present, offering visitors an immersion into the atmosphere of the Al-Andalus era.
