The Museum of Fine Arts of Asturias is the region's premier art treasury, located in the heart of Oviedo. As one of the most significant art galleries in Spain, the museum attracts visitors not only with its rich collection but also with its unique architectural ensemble. It occupies three historical buildings, including the Baroque Palacio de Velarde and a modern wing with a striking glass facade.

Inside the museum, guests embark on a fascinating journey through the centuries: from 14th-century works to contemporary art. It houses authentic masterpieces by such masters as El Greco, Francisco de Goya, Pablo Picasso, and José de Ribera. Of particular note is the collection of Asturian artists, which allows for a deeper understanding of the cultural identity of this remarkable land.
The total exhibition area is approximately 8,000 m², spread across 27 rooms. The museum harmoniously blends an atmosphere of antiquity with modern minimalism, creating the perfect space to immerse oneself in the world of beauty. Thanks to free admission and regular temporary exhibitions, this place has become a mandatory stop for every tourist visiting the north of the country.
