Imagine a real tropical oasis hidden among ancient streets, right in the heart of a city like Brno. "Butterfly House" (Papilonia) is a unique space covering more than 100 m², where a humid jungle ecosystem has been recreated. Here, protected by modern technology, live hundreds of exotic winged beauties brought from the most remote corners of the planet: from Mexico to the Philippines.

This place in the Czech Republic is striking in its diversity: the pavilion houses about 600–700 individuals representing 30 different species at any given time. Among lush palms and vibrant flowers, you can find rare insects like the sky-blue Australian "Blue Moon" or the Malaysian "Emerald Peacock". High humidity and constant warmth create the full sensation of being in the Amazon rainforests.
A special highlight is the opportunity to see the entire life cycle of an insect. Visitors can observe caterpillars and even witness a miracle — the emergence of a new butterfly from its cocoon. The barrier-free environment and thoughtful layout with a viewing gallery make this natural wonder accessible to every guest of the city.
