The Carpenters' Tower, or Turnul Dulgherilor, is considered one of the most picturesque surviving parts of the medieval fortifications for which Sibiu is famous. This defensive tower, rising above the Old Town, is a unique example of 14th–15th-century Transylvanian fortification architecture. Travelers arriving in Romania often include it in their itinerary for a chance to touch the living history of the Middle Ages.

The tower's architectural appearance is notable for its unusual shape, resembling a ship's prow. Built in the Gothic style with late medieval elements, it stands about 20 meters tall and is decorated with characteristic arches and loopholes. The tower's facade blends harmoniously into the look of Strada Cetății, creating an authentic atmosphere of an ancient European city.
Today, the site functions as a museum space. Here, you can not only see the massive walls and original construction elements but also enjoy panoramic views of the tiled roofs and surrounding hills. The site's popularity is confirmed by high ratings from tourists who value this structure for its historical significance and stunning views for photography.
