Tivoli Park is the green heart and the largest park complex not only in Ljubljana but in all of Slovenia. Spreading over an impressive area of 5 square kilometers, it has served as a favorite spot for relaxation, walks, and cultural leisure for both residents of the capital and guests of the city for over two centuries. The park was founded in 1813 and has been constantly developing ever since, turning into a true gem of landscape design.
It is not just a vast green zone, but a whole world where nature harmoniously blends with art and history. Here you can walk for hours along well-maintained alleys, relax by the pond, play sports on numerous grounds, or simply enjoy the silence on one of the lawns. The park offers entertainment for every taste: from playgrounds and mini-golf to outdoor exhibitions and cozy cafes.

The historical buildings located on its territory give the park special value. Central to the park is the 17th-century Tivoli Castle, which today houses the International Centre of Graphic Arts, regularly hosting world-class exhibitions. Nearby stands the elegant Cekin Mansion, built in 1720. It now houses the National Museum of Contemporary History of Slovenia. This proximity makes Tivoli Park a unique place where a walk in the fresh air easily turns into an educational excursion.
