Town Square (Mestni trg) is the colorful heart of the historic center, making it an essential part of Ljubljana. Located in Slovenia, it is a magnificent Baroque ensemble that preserves the spirit of past centuries.

The main architectural landmark of the square is the Town Hall (Magistrat), in front of which stands the famous Robba Fountain—a masterpiece symbolizing the region's three main rivers. The square's history dates back to the 12th century, though its modern appearance took shape after a major reconstruction following the earthquake of 1511.
Today, it is a lively pedestrian zone where old houses with rich décor stand alongside cozy cafes and art galleries. The square is considered one of the city's most photogenic spots thanks to its harmonious blend of Renaissance facades and elegant Baroque elements.
