Florø is the westernmost city in Norway, enchanting travellers with the rugged beauty of its fjords and seascapes. The fastest way to reach the region is to take a flight to the local Florø Airport (FRO), which receives regular flights and is conveniently located relative to the city centre. If direct tickets are unavailable, you can consider flying to neighbouring cities: Førde (46 km) or Sandane (66 km). Both airports serve as good alternative arrival points, from where it is easy to continue the journey to your final destination.

There is no direct railway connection to the city, as Florø does not have its own train station. Travellers who prefer trains are advised to travel to the country's major transport hubs, such as Bergen or Voss, where the main railway lines end.

It is important to consider that the nearest cities, Førde and Sandane, also do not have railway stations. Therefore, a combined "train plus bus" route is best planned through larger cities to the south or east of the region.
