The Museum of Folk Architecture and Life "Shevchenkivskyi Hai" is one of the most famous open-air ethnographic complexes in Ukraine, located in a picturesque corner of the city of Lviv. It is situated within the Znesinnia Regional Landscape Park, not far from the historic center, offering a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the atmosphere of the past without leaving the modern city.

The primary goal of the museum is the preservation and display of priceless monuments of folk wooden architecture, household items, and examples of folk art. It brings together authentic buildings from various ethnographic regions of Western Ukraine, allowing visitors to take a real journey through time and get to know the cultural heritage of the Boykos, Lemkos, Hutsuls, and other ethnic groups.
Over 120 architectural objects from the 18th to the 20th centuries are spread across the vast territory of "Shevchenkivskyi Hai." Among them are ancient wooden churches with intricate carvings, residential houses with recreated interiors, outbuildings, windmills, and a working blacksmith shop. Each exhibit was carefully moved and restored to accurately convey the spirit and way of life of a Ukrainian village from past centuries.
Strolling along the well-kept park paths, exploring the ancient houses, and participating in the themed festivals and workshops frequently held here leave an unforgettable impression. This is a place where history literally comes alive, offering guests not just a tour, but a deep cultural immersion.
