The museum building itself is a work of art and an impressive architectural complex. It harmoniously combines elements of medieval "Timurid" period architecture with modern design solutions. The museum has a distinctive circular shape topped by a large ribbed dome clad in sky-blue majolica. The exterior is complemented by elegant rooftop parapets, an open aivan, and slender columns, creating a majestic and memorable image.
The interior decoration is as magnificent as the exterior. Noble white marble was used for the columns, floors, and grand staircases. The interior of the dome is particularly striking: it is painted in the best traditions of Oriental architecture, decorated with fine ganch (plaster) carving, and covered with a delicate layer of gold leaf, giving the interiors an atmosphere of solemnity and luxury. Visiting the museum allows you not only to learn about the Timurid era but also to enjoy magnificent examples of modern architectural art inspired by historical heritage.
