The main highlight of the resort is, without a doubt, the breathtaking views of Mount Fuji that open right from the slopes. Imagine skiing or snowboarding down while this legendary volcano rises before you in all its glory. Such an experience is truly unforgettable and gives skiing here a special atmosphere.
The resort itself offers seven runs of varying difficulty levels, with a total length of about 4 kilometers and a vertical drop of approximately 210 meters. The highest point reaches 1,500 meters above sea level. For guests' convenience, there are four lifts, including chairlifts and surface lifts. Thanks to a modern artificial snowmaking system, the skiing season here usually lasts from December until early April, ensuring good conditions even with fickle weather.
Fujiten is one of the closest ski resorts to Tokyo, located only about 100 kilometers from the Japanese capital. This makes it easily accessible for day trips or short weekends, which is especially valued by travelers seeking to maximize their experiences in a limited time and enjoy skiing against the backdrop of the famous Mount Fuji.
