Mount Tâmpa is a picturesque natural symbol rising on the eastern edge of Brașov in Romania. Reaching an altitude of about 960 meters above sea level, it dominates the cityscape and is an integral part of it. The mountain is almost entirely surrounded by the city, making it very easy to visit.

One of the mountain's most recognizable features is the massive "BRASOV" sign on its slope, installed similarly to the famous Hollywood sign. This detail, along with the stunning panoramic views of the old town and its surroundings from the summit, makes Tâmpa one of the main attractions for both tourists and locals.
In addition to its tourist appeal, a large part of Mount Tâmpa is a nature reserve. Its slopes are covered in thick forests inhabited by rare animal species, including bears, butterflies, and birds, as well as unique plants. For travelers, it is a wonderful opportunity to combine sightseeing with outdoor activities, strolling along numerous trails and enjoying the fresh mountain air.
