When visiting Salamanca, be sure to stop by the unusual Museum of Commerce (Museo del Comercio y la Industria). This unique space is dedicated to the history of the region's economic and industrial life. Unlike traditional art galleries, it brings to life a world of vintage scales, cash registers, and early advertising signs that once defined the character of this corner of Spain.

The museum is located in a very unusual setting — restored 19th-century underground brick reservoirs. The vaulted ceilings and massive masonry provide an impressive backdrop for a collection that includes more than 400 antique radios. This exhibition is considered one of the most complete in the country, clearly demonstrating the technical evolution from early bulky models to elegant transistors.
Walking through the halls, you will take a true journey through time: from Roman inventions in the field of weights and measures to medieval craft guilds. The museum features reconstructed atmospheric interiors from the past, such as an old pharmacy, a photo studio, and a traditional street kiosk, making the visit interesting for both adults and children.
