Beneath the paved streets and ancient foundations lies the fascinating world of Zerostrasse. This is an extensive network of underground tunnels located under the Kaštel fortress in the very heart of Pula. As part of the rich historical heritage carefully preserved by Croatia, this attraction offers tourists a unique view of the city from an unusual perspective.

Today, Zerostrasse is not just a monument to early 20th-century engineering, but a full-fledged museum site. The wide corridors, reaching up to 6 meters in width, and high vaults create a sense of monumentality. A constant air temperature of about 20 degrees makes a stroll here particularly pleasant on hot summer days, turning the tunnels into a true oasis of coolness.
The total length of the sections open to the public is about 400 meters. Inside, visitors can expect not only a walk through mysterious corridors but also a fascinating photo exhibition dedicated to the history of aeronautics and the first steps of aviation in this region. This place wonderfully combines the atmosphere of the past with a modern approach to museum organization.
