The pride of the complex is its impressive collection, featuring over 10,000 jellyfish. Dozens of different species from all corners of the global ocean are represented here, from tiny and nearly invisible ones to quite large and brightly colored specimens. A visit to the World of Jellyfish is an opportunity not only to admire their smooth, hypnotic movements but also to learn a lot about their fascinating life cycles and roles in marine ecosystems.
Particular attention is drawn to the meticulously thought-out infrastructure. The complex consists of 38 round aquariums, specifically designed for the comfortable keeping of jellyfish. This shape was chosen intentionally: in nature, jellyfish follow currents, and in tanks with corners, they could cluster and get injured. Round tanks mimic natural conditions, allowing them to float freely. The largest tank in the World of Jellyfish holds up to 2,000 liters of water, creating an impressive spectacle for visitors.
