At first, a boat bay was formed here, and later, during the construction of neighboring residential areas, a massive sandy section was created by dredging. Today, the site bears the name Sahaidak. The change of names reflects different eras in the city's life, but the essence of the place remains unchanged: it is a natural oasis amidst an industrial landscape, preserving its connection to the history of the left bank's development.
