Villa Bernardini is a magnificent monument of late Renaissance architecture, tucked away among the picturesque hills of Tuscany. Located in the outskirts of Lucca, this historic estate today serves as a unique museum complex. Italy is famous for its villas, but this place stands out for its special atmosphere of continuity and authenticity.

Built in 1615 by order of the politician Bernardo Bernardini, the villa still belongs to the same family. It is the only property in the region that has never changed owners over 35 generations. The building is harmoniously integrated into the famous "Landscape of Villas," which includes hundreds of historic estates built in this part of the country between the 15th and 19th centuries.
Today, visitors can explore the rich interiors where time seems to have stood still. The halls preserve original furniture, carpets, antique clocks, and family silverware. A walk through the villa's rooms allows you to touch the aristocratic culture of the past and get a glimpse into the life of the Tuscan nobility from the inside.
