Fuxin, located in Liaoning Province, is characterized by a strongly continental climate. This region of China features distinct seasonality with cold, windy winters and fairly long, hot summers.

Transition periods—spring and autumn—are quite brief here, but they are considered the most comfortable times for travelers. Don't forget a compact umbrella or raincoat for sudden summer thunderstorms, as well as a light sweater for evening walks when the temperature can drop noticeably.
